Student Accommodation

So you’ve just moved into shared student accommodation, but your landlord won’t allow you to fix a permanent lock on the door. We have the solution. The Howsarlock is designed to fit most internal doors worldwide. Made of reinforced nylon the lock simply fits between the frame and the door on the inside of the room.

With no set up,  just remove the packaging and away you go. Perfect if you need some privacy now and again!

I bought this lock to use in my university house. I share with 4 other people and unfortunately, the landlord does not allow us to have permanent locks on our doors so I bought this. It takes a little practice to use; the first time I used it took me about 20 seconds however I can now very easily do it in a couple of seconds. It is a little pricey for a couple pieces of plastic however it is very well made.

This is so good! I'm a uni student and have no lock on my door and I was concerned about safety. It is very easy to use. I combine this with putting some wedges under my door and there is no way someone would be able to get in!

I wasn't sure exactly how this was going to work on my student bedroom door. But it's perfect. A bit fiddly at times to put in place - not easy to put up in a hurry, but straightforward to fit and works like a charm to stop people barging into your space.
